The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers was founded in 1880 (as the Society of Painter Etchers) to champion the interests of artists producing original etchings.  Dorothy Woollard was elected an Associate Member in 1916 and a Full Member in 1925, able to add the letters RE after her name.  Click here for the RE's website.
